Default matching tyres

alright people how you all doing just a question to see what everyone thinks about mixing tyres i have been running conti road attacks front and rear but have just bought a bridgestone battlax bto21 rear as its a better lasting tyre i do alot of running mostly flat out as well just wondering what everyone thinks as i have had alot of people saying not to mix and about the same amount saying it dont matter as the conti front tyre should be stickyer than the bridge rear chears for any replys

Maybe it would matter on a track, but on street I cannot see how the difference would be so great that you would not just get used to whatever set of tires you put on.

runnin bt in front and stradas on the rear no probs here. p.s. stradas are bowlin ***** for da street.

won't be a problem, if the profiles are very different, you might feel that but it won't cause a problem

I can't think of a reason why it would matter. I also say go for it. Think about what kind of tires racers were using 30 years ago, and how even if you've mixed and matched some tires, they are probably infinitely better than what was cutting edge when people were running races 30 years ago.

You are rolling on two different arcs,so it won't be safeon twisty roads.

I once tried Michelin race tire on the front (PR3) and a street tire on the rearand thebike wobbled everytimeI leaned over.
