LED relay?

Hi guys im sorry to keep up with more posts but im struggling to find the answer on here, i have currently 2 LED indicators on the front of my F2 and the old ones the rear, however the indicators are flashing fast, but when i replace the old rear indicators for LED they stop working all together?

Do i need to change the relay for an LED relay or is there something ive missed? Also if it is an LED relay is there any type i need to go for? Links to ebay would be desirable.

Many thanks.

Some LED blinkers have build in resistors, some don't. Ones without will blink too fast using the stock relay. You can add resistors, you could buy better turn signals, or buy a LED relay like this

Thank you for the tip and link but mines a 3 pin I was looking at one like this... Fix Flash Rate Turn Signal [Flasher Relay LED indicator bulbs] 3 PIN CF14 JL-02 | eBay

Would this be ok for the f2? Im more than happy soldering the connection to stop resistance heat.

Well, they have this one too:

However, It is my understanding that most 3 pin flashers only use 2 of the pin. So you need to go by the pin configuration, not pin numbers.

Either | | | (like the first one) or | _ | (like the second link)
I believe the F2 uses the first one and the first link I sent should work for you, unless UK F2 are very different from US F2's.
