So I got the bike I bought for $300 for my brother running today! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone in here for all of the advice given to me to get it running! (also posted a thanks in general tech lol) So the symptoms were it would turn over, spit sputter and backfire LOUD lol but never would start. I checked and regapped the plugs (they were new), changed the coils, cleaned the carbs and found out that two of the start/idle jets were clogged. I cleaned the gas tank and changed all the internals to the petcock from a good one I had laying around. Today I put it all back together and it wasn't getting fuel, it turns out the little vacuum piece on the petcock was clogged, so I put the old piece back on but kept the internals. It fired right up after that! I rode it for probably 25 minutes today lol
