Indicators
Need some help guys, i ride a 600f 2 (2002) and am looking to change my bog standard indicators for flush mounted led indicators. I am sure it will be a fairly easy task to complete but i require some guidance. I refuse to pay £20 for a ful service manual but am unable to find any suitable info online. Any suggestions?

RE: Indicators
Don't understand the thread.The600f2 was only made from '91 to '94. If your bike's really an '02 CBR 600, it's an F4. You won't need the manual to replace the signals. Just follow the directions on the signals you buy. If you buy them used, just use trial and error, there are only 2 wires, and you can't hurt anything.

RE: Indicators
Please post a pic of the other side, and one of the tag that says 600f2. The frame looks like an f-4. I'm 99 percent sure that it'san F-4. You are in the UK, right? Judging by the sticker on the front fairing, I would assume it's fuel injected. If so, it's technically an F-4i, which I didn't think they made until 2003. Wierd. I can only assume that European models are very different in their nomenclature (I vaguely remember hearing that they are). You should ask local cbr buffs if they can enlighten you. Check the vin also. Not sure exactly what each series of numbers means on a cbr, but someone on this forum is bound to. Do a search.

RE: Indicators
F4i? Now i am tottally confused, although it does mention in my mini owners handbook about fuel injection system. The sticker with F2 on it has litteraly been stuck under the seat just above the battery casing so that could have been added at any time. The whole thing certainly seems a little weird though. It as bought from new in 2002 (and registerd by the dealer as an F2) i am only the second owner. I have conacted honda and will maybe try the dealership from where i bought it but you have certainly given me something to think about. I will keep you posted when i have more details
