Thats a rebound adjuster on the top of the forks. Usually found on not old bikes. rebound is basically intuitive in nature. aka the speed at which your forks return to extended after hitting a bump.

On your f2, there is no top-of-the-fork preoad adjuster. What is needed is to put a spacer in your fork. It will basically act like a forkcap that is lower, making the spring someone compressed. This is useless in a practical setting because to change the preload on a f2 you have to open the fork and remove the old spacer and put a larger spacer in if you want to make your settings "harder" hense the H and S in the pic.

dont buy a spacer if your thinking of tuning your suspension, cut down a peice or several peices of pvc pipe. It will be cheap and works.

Tuning your suspension is imperative. The bike is made for a single person and not for various riders weight.

Hope this helps if not ask me to clarify

Fat chick: Oh you haz motorcycle can i ride?

Ok well now I am lost. What do u mean it "dropped" a bit? Are you saying the forks stick out more off the triple as if your whole triple dropped? Or your body weight made the bike lower once you sat on it?

I also reread my post and i meant rebound adjuster, the springs suck and it wont adjust anything without spacers unless your a 90 lb asian then you will be fine.

The springs are weak. The cheapest way to go is as stated above, cut some spacers a bit longer than the stock ones. Have you had your forks apart before? You'll see that there is a spacer about 3 or 4 inches long that sits on top of the spring. The caps on the tops of the forks screw in and put pressure down on these spacers thus putting pressure on the springs which in turn holds your bike up. Longer spacers mean more spring pressure. The screws simply screw in against a washer on top of the springs putting more pressure on them. Hope that helps.

Thank you wrango, I felt like this was going no where. blacken, u have your solution with the spacers, you could also go with a heavier weight oil, f3 front end gsxr front end, lose weight, cut off a leg, yoga, ride from the passengers seat, and another number of things. Hope this helps.
