You run across a former F2 owner....who says "Gosh, I miss that bike."

What makes the F2 so special?

 

I still wish I had my 600 Hurricane. It was a fun bike. I like my 900, but damn the 6 was a hoot. Lots of good memories.......that is why people think that way.

 

For me it's happened twice.... once from the guy who owned my bike before.

And another time from a guy who I used to work with...he had a red/white/blue one.

 

I work with 3 people who have all owned F2s and they all said the same thing. It's one reason I still hang on to mine and am not completely tempted to "upgrade". I still remember reading the rave reviews in the bike mags back in the early 90s when the F2 first came out.

 

the mechanic at the Honda dealership also had an f2



he treats me like a VIP and was even spraying Honda polish on it when I came to pick it up from the shop

 

I've had afew people tell me they had one. And, of those people, they all wish they had kept it. So, for me, if and when I upgrade to a bigger bike, I'm keeping the F2. It'll just have a new garage buddy.

Yesterday the guy who used to ride the red/white/blue f2 was talking to me...he finally saw my purple/black/pink bike.

I wish he still had his so we could ride!

 

i'm on the other side of the coin. i don't own an f2 but love 'em and wish i had one. i'd love to pick one up someday as a 2nd bike there's just something about those bikes...
