is there a trick to doing it without having to remove the front cowl?

 

you have to reach up from the bottom and remove the small funny shaped metal clip on back of headlight unit. Then the bulb will come right out and just put the new one in there...

 

1. get big hammer
2. wind up
3. smash headlight
4. change bulb
5. sweep up glass
6. spend next 2 days super gluing the glass back together

This is probably the fastest, most efficient way to do it. not the cleanest though. but hey! you'll feel GREAT after you do it. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

Take the old one out. Put the new one in.

There's a little plastic piece you must remove first toget your hand in there. Then you caneither look at thebulb or touch it, but you can't do both. It's infuriating until you know the trick. I'll let you figure out that one.
