I'm sure you could buy a cheap ballast and HID kit and retrofit it to our headlight housing - BUT the beam will be completely uncontrolled and illegal.

A lot of tuner cars with projector headlights do this mod and the light is blinding and uncontrolled with a more advanced housing than our bikes have... It would be amplified with our simple housings.

I have a PIAA super white (or something like that) bulb in my bike and it is plenty bright enough, and doesn't **** off and blind cagers (that much).

Just be sure that the beam is aimed properly, it is adjustable.

I need somethin brighter because i have to go like 30mph at night when theres no street lights on the back roads because i cant see that far ahead. A couple of my friends have them but they all have new bikes so i wasnt sure if the kits will work with the F2.

I have a Silverstar bulb on my F2. The beam seems to be going everywhere. How do I adjust the headlight?

as hershey said, HID would not be good for our headlights because the pattern would be uncontrolled, throwing light everywhere. Real HIDs use projector housings to aim light and use a cutoff like below:

HIDs in a non-projector housing look like this

here's a good link explaining why you shouldn't HID kit your headlight. http://www.r6-forum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36709

if you do get HID with your regular headlight you'll blind oncoming drivers increasing the risk of them running into you. the reason i say this is because my roommate has them in his car and they are stupid bright and annoy the heck out of everyone, including me.

jus sayin. :-)
