Hey,

I am really considered the Vapor, but I had a few questions.

-Which one did you purchase? I saw there were quite a few, and none matched the 600.

-Also, how did you change the speedo sensor? I am assuming you are not using the f2's because its mechanical?

Thanks.

I purchased the one for the SV650 it works perfect as is. The sensor mounts on your fork tube and you replace one of the rotor bolts with a new one that has a magnet.

Awesome. Do you like the digital tach? Does it have a lag to it? That is really the only reason I am a little skeptical still. This just seems so much easier than doing the f4i gauge swap.

There is really no lag. I have the same system on my Raptor 700r ATV. ON the quad it’s a little hard to see, but on the bike I have it mounted a little further out so it’s easier to see. If any thing you can get a cheap large eBay tach for cheap. For $120 it works well. I have had this unit on all my quads and never had any issues with it. Its complete weather proof and if you wheel diameter is setup right its extremely accurate on speed.

looks like he just cut a mounting plate out of sheet steel and bolted it in with the ignition switch assembly.
