ok guys i have a 93 f2 and im trying to get as much power out of it as i can for good prices.I
been mainly working on cosmetics but want to make it a beast/sleeper. i have a slip on right now and im probably going to do a -1 but i want to get some more speed too. i took my bike up to about 150 a couple of months ago and i want to try and get some more out of it.I know i need a jet kit what stage should i get? what else can i do to make this thing mean o and no negative replies i just want help not people talking me out of it so if your goin to dis what im sayin dont say anything at all.and im possibly thinking of doing a 900 swap but i need to know what all i need to do it and is their a motor that will drop in some one told me their is a 900 that will go right in im not sure of it but what ever. Just so you know, if you go -1 on the front, you're not going to go as fast, or faster. I'd suggest at most a stage 2 or 3 jet kit for street use, maybe something like swapping in an F3/f4 motor perhaps if you REALLY want some modern power out of it. an F4i motor would probably fit fairly easily, and give some pretty nice power. I think an RR motor might fit, but you'd have to look at the 600RR and measure like crazy to know for sure.

how about a aftermarket header and mid pipe, slip ons sound nice but the real power increase is from having a full exhaust system. Definitely get a jet kit, and unless you know what your doing take it to a shop so they can dyno it and tune the carbs properly. Other than that there isnt really anything thats going to get you much noticable power, you could do aftermarket plugs, wires, air filters, etc and you might see a little gain but not much. The only real way you are going to see more power is increasing the displacement of the motor (i.e. a motor swap or big bore kit) then you also have the options of turbo or nitrous (but doing that you might as well buy bigger bike, money wise haha)

the turbo bikes though, require a LOT of money to do, and a great deal of skill and tuning or the whole thing is for nothing when the motor grenades. not as worthwhile to me as say, the 900RR motor swap, or my favorite ever, just finding a 1000RR to go fast on.

I think Erion still sells cams for the f2/f3.A nice set of cams and a little head work would do some good with a full exhast and some tuning. Then there's always an ignition advancer. Other than that. 900 swap, or maybe even something like a 929 or 954 swap.
