I found a 1991 CBR600...the picture of it looks pretty good. Its a Black, blue, hot pink paint theme with the red wheels.
This is what the ad says: "1991 HONDA CBR 600 F2, This bike has 39,913 miles on it. It has a two brothers racing exhaust installed. It needs a new chain, rear right turn signal needs repair also. It is a good beginner bike to start out on. All it needs is a little TLC. It has been wrecked, but majority of the fairings have been replaced. It does have scratches on the bottom left fairing."
He was asking $2300 for it but i offered 2000. Today he said he'd take 2K for it since it needed the turn signal, chain and a tuneup in the future.
Is this a good deal? Thanks.

I would still try to talk him down some, Especially if it has been wrecked.. . i paid 2000 for my 92 last summer and i got a helmet, and a cover along with it and all the bike needed was a new battery, and some new spark plugs. it also had 6000 less miles, not that really means that much
Just my thoughts

Hmmm...good advice about the red wheels. Ive seen them on CBR's before but didnt know it was '92 exclusive. Being that this bike was wrecked i wouldnt doubt that it may be pieced together. Although $2000 is tempting, im thinking of holding off anyway and spending a little more and getting something in better shape. Im sure i can find a nice F2 for around 2500 or so that doesnt need any fixing. Im just anxious and they seem to be hard to come by around here!!
Thanks again for the help.
