Default gauges compatibility - F1 F2 F3

does anyone know if you can put gauges from an F1 or F3 onto an F2? Im not talking about the physical mounting, but just the wiring and connections. I dont care if there is some re-wiring/soldering required. Any comments are appreciated.

i would imagine that an f3 cluster would be pretty straight forward as they are practically the same bike with only a few cosmetic and suspension changes

f2 speedo cable, f3 non-speedo cable. don't think it'll work unless you bought speed sensors.

OK thanks. so no-go for the F3. maybe F1 gauges would work?

As long as it is mechanical drive, the cables fit, and the ratios are the same then it "should" work.

So has anyone put F1 gauges on an F2??

Right now the bike has no gauges at all. looking on ebay I see the F2 clusters going for $300 and the ones for the F1 going for MUCH less. no brainer, assuming they will work.

Thanks for the replies.

Why not mount some F4i gauges if you are going through the work of swapping them out?

a f4i swap can cost you a pretty penny, typically the f4i gauges cost 100-200 alone. not to mention you need a 900rr speed sensor and invest in speedohealer to correct the read out.

if you get lucky you can do the swap for about 400 - 500.

I think I will go with an Acewell unit or something similar. they're more like 150-200, 500 is definitely out of my budget. thanks for the replies.
