Default Gauges?

im kinda in between a rock and a hard place right now. was out riding earlier and was cruising and all of a sudden the tach needle just broke and fell. i cant find a good condition set of gauges on ebay so next option is f4i but it seems like there are no good gauges anywhere. so what are my options here and what guages have people used on there f2 the wiring does not bother me. any help is appreciated thanks.

f4i gauges work with f3's because the speedo/tach are both digital (eventhough we have analog gauges)
the f2, i believe, has a cable speedo? i dont think the f4i gauges can read those, can it?
