Default fuel reserve

i kno this was brought up in a recent post but i can't seem to locate it... anyways, which position is off/on in regards to the fuel reserve?

I beleive that with the little notched arrow down is On, Sideways is Off and up is Reserve

what do you mean by reserve? i thought ithad to be one or the other: on or off??

Your bike can have your fuel line open (on), fuel line closed (off), and reserve which is when you run low on fuel so you flick it to reserve because you then know your low on fuel.

wait...maybe its up is off...down is on..and sideways is reserve...ahh crap i dont remember...someone help

DOWN is ON,FORWARD is OFF,UP is RESERVE.

There is a tube that sticks up into your gas tank where the fuel is drawn from, when the petcock is set to "ON" it draws from the top of the tube, as your fuel runs out and gets below the level that the "ON" setting can access you run out of fuel.

BUT, you're safe!

TheRESERVE setting draws fuel from the bottom of the tube, and you've got about 10-15 km's to fill up.

i thoguht it was up was on sideways was off and down is RES..im pretty sure on that..LOL...im now confused..but im not going outside to check in 45degree weather.

Up= Reserve
Middle= Off
Down= On
