Front Tire

Just looking for some feedback on buying a new front tire. I am looking at a Pirelli Diablo or the Metzler Sportec M1. I have a Dunlap Qualifer on back thats brand new. It came on the bike when I bought it. Any opinons on these tires? Thanks

The tyre issue has been posted about quite alot mate ..

The best tire advice anyone will give you is match front to rear ..but since you have an only half worn Dunlop on the rear already that you want to keep till it dies ...
( yu do not want to mention Dunlop Qualifiers to much around here mate)

I use and love the Bridgestone Battlax BT-020

I think the Pirelli are the most popular with these CBR guys

If you put a Pirelli on the front and keep the dunlop...just take it easy and see if they ride together ok for you ..

Nothing that I personally know of because I have never used them to be honest...., but in here they do not get a good rap for some reason mate ..

Tyres are a personal choice thing , so you use what feels good under you ..ok

I cannot say enough good things about the Pirelli Diablos, and you'll be fine with mixmatched tires

Yer ..mix'n matchin tyres is not the preferred thing to do , but as you say , most of the time it is ok...

If it feels good .....do it

well i ended up with a michelin pilot front tire. got it at pretty good price on ebay so we will see.

Personally, I'd get a matching set of Pirelli diablos, do an extended burnout and DESTROY that duncrap POS. I've never run a single duncrap that I liked to date beyond the 208 or 209GP.
