Front 3 piece fairing question

Front 3 piece fairing question
Can I merge my front 3 piece fairings together into one? If I do, is it really hard to mount it or will it go on with no problems? I've had to repair some of the side uppers and if I weld them to the middle fairing, it will make them stronger. I think I've seen other people with all 3 seamlessly welded together.

+1 for eFairings sucking. Mine came with one and I'm on a mad search for stock upper fairings. I'd rather ride it naked than with an e-fairing. I was convinced my fiberglass one-piecer wasn't even for my bike until I found a part number and proved that it was, in fact, just a really really crappy fiberglass fairing intended to somehow fit on my bike.

Ahh...thanks for the input. I guess I'll just weld/fiberglass the hell out of the puzzle I put together then. Finding these uppers at a reasonable price is proving to be next to impossible!
On a similar topic, can I buy the OEM sticker set that is on my bike? I've seen colorrite sells the OEM paint I'll need.

I feel ya man. I'm on a mad search for stock upper fairings, rashed or not. The pickinz' are slim.
You can cross your fingers if you want , but I've had some atrociously expensive bad experiences with colorrite. I bought their whole system to re-paint the lower a-arms of my YFZ450 quad, and it wasn't even close. I went to the local paint shop with the part that was the color I needed, and the guru there made a ridiculously good looking match. It was about half the price, and had the metal flake as part of the base coat as well, so I just needed to primer, base and clear as usual. Of course, if they didn't get it right some/most of the time they wouldn't be a business, but I'm done with that junk.

I do agree with the efairings sucking. However I have seen a new post started a couple days ago with a top fairing only for 135. Comes in 3 pieces, not seamed together. They look alright would be interested in how they fit. Link below...

Maier makes one out of A.B.S. plastic. But its a race upper with no headlight cut out.I modified IT to use stock headlight. I cut the inside trim from the old one and used plastic weld to hold it. I tied down the headlight from the inside to keep it in place. for $123.95 it was worth it for me.
