RE: fork springs

I bought some Race Tech springs shortly after buying my bike. I think I settled on .85kg and I'm about 185. If you go to http://www.racetech.com/evalving/menu/searchstreet.asp they've got all the information you'll need to get the right spring rates for you and your riding style.

RE: fork springs

I can't really compare them to stock springs, at least reliably, because the fork seals were starting to go when I bought my bike. The front end was really spongy until I replaced the seals and springs. I think that site shows the stock springs are rated for someone ~130 lbs.

Personally, I would stick with their recommendations. I've taken my bike to the track and felt it was spot on. I think you can call them too and get some recommendations if you like.

I didn't. It ran somewhere around $400 all said and done.
