Default Fork oil level and Front axel bolt size

Two quick questions for someone with an owners manual and or experience, what is the recommended level for fork oil in a 93 F2 and what is the nut size on the front axle, I'm pretty sure it's a 20 mm but I'm not sure. And if anyone is going to post a link to the service manual don't, I already have it and it's not the same thing as the owners manual.

It's in the service manual - section 1-11.

If you're like most of us, unfortunately, the online download you found has chapter 1 omitted.

I'll check my Clymer manual when I get home - I've got a set of 94 forks I'm rebuildng this weekend anyhow.

it is a 22mm bolt head, 43 lb torque. The oil capacity is 508cc per leg. You can add 10 to 30 cc's more to add some resistance to bottoming out.

that oil level the same for a 94 fork? I only bought 2 pints of oil today at the shop. Guess I need to go grab another one.

94 went to cartridge forks. Capacity on another web site was listed at 460 cc per leg. Cartridge probably takes up more room in the leg.

Hey thanks so much, that is missing in my service manual I was wondering why people kept posting that when asked for information like this.

It could be that the online manual is missing the 1st section to keep Honda from protesting it being online.

Thanks guys, fork seals are replaced, and the bike is back in one piece. Now I just need to track down that first section of the service manual for future repairs.
