Well, I'm going to go ahead and put this out there. A buddy of mine is bumping up to a bigger bike and made me an offer on his 02 F4i tonight that is pretty good and its been well babied, so I will be accepting offers on my F2, just to give you guys a heads up before it actually does hit ebay in about a week. I've put some cash in this F2 but will be reasonable. Send me a PM if interested, I'll also put it in the classifieds in the next few days on here, then ebay if I get no takers. Thanks guys.

Nice ride but I would go ahead and put a solo tail on there if you are gonna leave the rear pegs off.

I wouldn't "upgrade" to an F4i. Not worth it. The F2 is a great bike and unless you are going to an RR with the inverted forks and radial brakes it just isn't much of an upgrade.

just my $.02

Yes Keep your f2!!!

It is unique and a classic.

What is truly awesome about your bike is in the picture with the two other "modern" sportbikes.

Your bike is the one farthest away and the oldest....but my eye is constantly attracted to that shiny, black bike!!!

My F2 has a crap paint job and I always get compliments on it. Plus I rolled a Triumph 955i off the line from a light through 65mph yesterday along with absolutely losing him in the twisties a few moments later. F2's have awesome balance and handling with more than enough power for any street use. With the jetting and engine work mine has it screams on the track too. Put some work into that beautiful old bird and it will serve you well for years for alot less than you would spend on a new one.

Well the tensioner made the bike a completely different ride today. Its like its new again. I had like 4 or 5 people today tell me not to sell. Now you guys, decisions suck don't they. You guys don't think its worth while to go to a "FI" bike? Have a great night guys.

FI is overrated. It doesn't run any better than your carbs and the carbs are a hell of a lot easier to work on. Plus if you wanna make any mods to the FI you have to get a Power Commander and make maps instead of just changing the jets and needles on the carbs. Too much money and work, bleh.

You will not see any benefit from switching to that F4i. Plus you will lose the best part of your bike... It's beautiful, it's unique, and you can do a crap load with it to make it even more unique without spending out the butt.

Check out CBRWorld.net and look at some of the sick mods done on these old bikes to update the looks. We have one rider that has put on an '04 GSX-R600 tailsection, an '04 CBR600RR Unit-prolink swingarm and suspension, and a complete 1000rr front end. He did all that for less than $1K.

So true!

We must save tons of $$$ with zero bike payments, low insurance and maintenance.

I'd love the added power of a newer bike, but I am very happy with the F2 for now

If i sold her I think it would be very, very hard to find another like mine.
