Default First Motorcycle Ever

1993 Honda CBR600F2
29,XXX miles
Missing some plastic and turn signals and mirrors
Spent a lil time with tlc (plugs, oil, filters, cleaning)

Got it running but want to know the real value of the bike

I traded a competition stereo worth a lil over $1500 for it although i didn't pay that much for it did i get a good deal, the bike is in need of more tlc and a few body parts

i'd say its a pretty even deal.. u said u got a better deal than the actual retail price of $1500 right? i'd say a bike like that is worth $1300 maybe if it had a clean title

I wouldn't say screwed... depends on where you live. In BC (canada) you would pay at least $1000 for that kind of condition... people sell nice low km F2's for well over $2500

Sounds like a fine deal to me. Everything I own is a ressurected piece of junk, elbow grease and a willingness to learn is the key. Just don't get too frustrated when things don't go as planned, and some mechanical gremlin rears it's head. The nice thing about these bikes is that there's lots of answers to pretty much every question you could ask. Just remember that the thing in your right hand is a variable throttle control, not an on/off switch. Good luck!

lets see i traded a Kicker zx2500.1 and four 10" L5's 2008 models and then sold him a kinetik 2400 for $200... altogether it had cost me about 1200... actually i think retail on all of this was higher than 1500... the stereo was pissing to many people off so i got the bike... which was good to the town i live in until they found out that i cant turn down the muffler, wait it dont have a muffler lol
