How can you say that?! there's close to a 100 lb. difference! I would say the only advantage it has over the 600rr is the riding posture. Its a comfortable bike I'll give it that but if you're looking for performance, 600rr takes it by a LONG shot. Being a throttle happy 20 yr. old, I want performance. Maybe when I start complaining about my bike I'll hop back on an f2

Well, I'm hoping you get a great motor and fall back in love with this bike. That way you get a chance to enjoy the bike YOU built for YOU. Or, you can sell it for a reasonable price(you're gonna lose money anyway) that will boost your savings for your 1000 RR. Either way, you win.
