has anyone put a fender eliminator on their bike? the stock fender is so ugly and all broken up on the used F2 i bought. cheapest one i saw on ebay was $50 but it just looks like a metal tray. i assume it bolts on underneath of the back of the frame (i included a link of the item below). if this is the case, how do you secure the tail light? right now the tail light bolts ontop of the old fender, so does the tail light have to bolt directly onto the frame? and if so, is there any additional work that needs to be done to secure that light?
let me know what you guys think, i certainly dont want to have to buy a used stock fender that isnt broken to use on my bike. thanks alot

My F2 came with a hacked fender eliminator (sort of). The light now bolts up to the frame but it looks like crap because it tucks back into the plastics about 1/2 inch. I was thinking i should get the stock one and cut the bottom part off. It kinda sucks how the whole rear is bolted up to that piece.

That's what I have- a chopped stocker- judge for yourself how it looks- I dig it alright, and it was way cheaper than the aftermarket. I reverse mounted some small led rear turns inside the recess under the taillight to fill it in a bit, then mounted a lic. frame with led turns. A little overkill, but at least people can see me turn (:
