speaking of parts like that one i was wondering if the rubber flap i guess that you could call it that closes in your airbox tubes is a nessicary part...more hp?

I know the piece your speaking of, I would leave it in, it protects your coils from moisture. What about if you removed the two intake elbows? Or maybe uncapping the air inlets in the top fairings and just letting cooler air enter that way? One would have to be careful though not to make the mixture become too lean where you would have to rejet.

Nobody here ever speaks of G-Tech Meters, has anyone used one to measure before and after mods, performance gains or losses?
