carb work should be the last resort after eliminating everything else (especially if its easier). bike needs 3 things to run: air, fuel and spark. and focusing on carbs skips the other 2

i agree. except, he stated that the po messed with them. and he already replaced the coils. and cleaned the plugs, and air like 95% of the time is a give me...spark plugs tell the story of how your engines really running, like i said, post up some pics, lol. and while ur there replace those plugs.

Ya and I agree too Except where he says he's wet fouling the plugs and pouring gas directly in doesn't get her to ignite.

I'm thinking he has bad plugs or isn't getting enough spark for some reason to get ignition. Pilot jets being off I'd think she'd still run, even if she did stall out shortly after. I wonder if he's actually tested each plug for spark yet.

Yea, if it was me i would go ahead and knock out the electrical checks first since they are pretty easy to do. start at the plugs and work your way back to make sure everything is working. if nothing else it will narrow your search down.

spray starter fluid in the carbs and see if it starts

If it does not start, pour gas on bike, then start it with a match
