my bike would never do a power on, no matter what. Turns out I was blowing compression past my loose spark plugs, doh. The bike is currently getting a carb cleaning and valve adjustment, will see if any power comes back

IMO, clutch ups are easier to learn, and control. roll up to about 7.5-8k in RPM, slip the clutch barely into the friction zone while simultaneously adding throttle. let the clutch out and give a lil tug on the bars. the amount of added throttle will dictate how you come up. takes a bit of practice but it works well when mastered. Start slow, dont goose it to 12k when you let go the first time. i usually released the clutch at about 9.5-10kand it came up nice and easy. DONT FORGET TO COVER THE REAR BRAKE!!!

I must add that if your bike isnt running well, or you think it may be having some issues that shouldnt be. Get up to date on the maintenance of your bike. Clean the carbs. check the plugs. all your fluids. basic tune up stuff... if your trying to wheelie with a bike thats not tuned right, your wasting your time and hurting your bikes performance even more.

as for ways of making it easier. Sprocket change. -1/+2 makes it incredibly easy. but i recommend learning stock first.

I am not a stunt person at ALL so I advice is do not it. I give you props for making the effort but unless it is in a OPEN PARKING LOT and not on PUBLIC STREETS, I recommend not doing it. It could lead to several bad things which can be expensive and could possibly cost you your life.

Chain convert w/ -3 front/+5 rear, correct me if I am wrong please, is one of the easiest mods to help assist you in this adventure. Best of luck get up on 1 wheel.

I know it is down in front and up in the rear just unsure of the actual numbers. But like I side, I get my thrillers leaning like I got a flat.

I used to clutch up and power wheely my F3 easy as pie when it was stock in 1st gear but wanted to get them up in 2nd and 3rd to get them faster so changed to -3 in the front and +4 in the rear and i tell you, in the lower gears it wasnt Easier really it was dangerous when power wheeling in 1st gear the bike would go past balancing point before you actually even rearlised it had lifted the wheel and i'd be slamming it down in a panic, i cant do slow wheelies for **** and my advice would be dont go overkill on the sprockets unless your learning to slow them down.

I know it sounds like a big pile of bull**** but in my own personal opinion the key is learning to just picking the wheel up and putting it down smoothly not worrying about keeping it up and eventually your brain will just click to the point that you wont even have to think about picking it up and putting it down because youll do it subconsioncely which means you can then concentrate on keeping it up and here comes the bit that sounds like bull****, but to me when you get to were your consentrateing on keeping it up it feels like everythings slowed down when you pick it up but you can still react at full speed, i dunno wether its just getting use to it / not panacking anymore.
