Default F2 vs. F3 Rear wheel...ups and downs?

Ok so im rebuilding my trusty F2...and am going to be powder coating the wheels soon....I was going to put a 170 on the rear f2 rim...but heard that an f3 wheel is better for this because of the extra half inch makes the tire flatter...hence more stable in a turn....But before I comit to doing this...I need to know if everyone thinks its worth it....and what all I will need...im sure i will need new bearings...but what about spacers...cause those are pricey..and axel etc?

Or you could just stick with the stock size and get better performance without spending the extra money on the tires, wheels, and spacers.

well heres the thing...I need new tires anyway.....so I'm just wondering if itd be worth it....im swapping a 900rr motor in very soon as well and have a f4i rear shock so that shortens the rake and wheel base a good amount...

If you have an F3 rim handy, by all means go with it...if not, I wouldn't bother.
Good Luck!

Allright thanks for you input! I was about to get one off of ebay but they are pricey for what seems to be next to nothing in performance gein...ill just put a 170 on stock and im sure it will work just fine.

Not terribly much - make me an offer. Where do you live I could try to estimate the shipping on it.

There ya go.

Putting an F3 rear wheel on an F2 is worth it lock, stock and barrel.
