I couldn't have said it any better! If you don't have the will power to learn on a present bike, a newer bike probabley won't make you any faster.

The 09+ rr's are restricted from the factory but a cheap ignition module returns them to full 07-08 glory. Either way its going to have more power then F4i's and older models.
Yeah, i'm not in the habit of remembering these stats, they just depress me! Anyways, the 600RR comes to 415 wet with 105hp at the rear wheel in 07 (fastest and lightest) trim. F2 is 85hp at the rear wheel and 455 lbs wet. So that's 20rwhp down and 40lbs up. That's a big deal. But the geometry changes are a bigger deal in my humble opinion when you're not on the track. Power's nice, but nice suspension and chassis setup is nicer. Unfortunately for us F2 riders, the 600RR is better in both areas. But we've got that awesome banana seat, my *** is way more comfortable!

My *** still hurts after riding all day long.

As an aside, I'm shopping for a 600rr. A guy posted up an 07 on Craigslist and stated he was interested in trading for an older bike plus cash. I called and told him what I had and he laughed.

You need to put more weight on the pegs more. Sitting on a sportbike is a surefire recipe for posterior pain. It'll be worse on the 600rr, trust me!
