I couldn't have said it any better! If you don't have the will power to learn on a present bike, a newer bike probabley won't make you any faster.

Ok I'll admit Im not a F2 guy, but the 07+ RR's are 30lbs lighter wet and at least 10whp ahead of my F4i, which is lighter and more powerfull then F2's. The 09+ rr's are restricted from the factory but a cheap ignition module returns them to full 07-08 glory. Either way its going to have more power then F4i's and older models.

As an aside, I'm shopping for a 600rr. A guy posted up an 07 on Craigslist and stated he was interested in trading for an older bike plus cash. I called and told him what I had and he laughed.

You need to put more weight on the pegs more. Sitting on a sportbike is a surefire recipe for posterior pain. It'll be worse on the 600rr, trust me!
