I live in northernish Ontario.. still have 2 feet of snow in my backyard. Had a couple warms days, but not enough to clear out ALL of the roads yet. Hate it.

My little f2 stunter looks so dirty compares to your nice and clean bike. Now I want to buy a 2nd used f2 and start from the frame up. damn uuuuu.......

think starting the bike a few times for a short bit then shutting it off will help by baking the paint on before i take it for a spin and get it real hot?

I recommend ceramic coating, cost is low, looks fantastic

To be honest, as long as the temp on the paint is above 1200 degrees you should be fine. (If I remember from a month back from reading you're first post you used 1400 degree paint). I used 1200 degree primer on my headers and 500 degree gold paint and the gold flaked right off, but the primer is stuck on there with no signs of chipping. So, from my experience you should be fine with 1200 degree temp paint on the headers.

ya the primer and paint are 1400 degree. i will let you guys know how it works out

With every "high temperature" paint experience I have had, it all burns off...

VW Beetle dunebuggy exhaust, my friends F2 headers, etc.. Paint didnt last more than 2 heat cycles
