I just love that V-FOUR sound and the fact it's all stock....and in great condition.

Huh... V-Twin sound out of a 4 cylinder???

VFR is a V-4.... and makes about the same HP as your F2. Just at a lot more usuable RPM for the street. I've own 3 VFR's, and they are definately an awesome machine.
*chuckle*

Fixed. Uh...yeah, like I was saying....that V-four sound is really outta this world!

But I have to get used to this bike. It's much wider, esp.with the Corbin seat. I have to stand on tippy toes at stoplights. I'm 5' 7" 155 lbs and I wear full leathers.

Wait, how did you just change a previous post? I didn't think that was possible.

Nice bike. Like others have said, the VFR is a nice bike. I like my F2 but if I went another route a VFR would be it. You mentioned it's a big bike. How does it feel compared to the F2? How is the riding position. I never been on one but expect a more sport touring type position?

Enjoy!

I've always been curious about the F2 and the VFR since I was in college in the early 90's.

Well, to give you an idea when I was riding the F2 at very lowspeeds it waseasy to make the bike weave left and right ....sorta how Indy car guys warm up their tires.

With this bike, I can't do that.

I also have to really go on tippy toes at stoplights, either the bike is higher or wider or both.

It's more upright when riding...less weight on my wrists and stuff, but I haven't ridden it but once.

Power wise it's there. I didn't do anything else but gun it from a stoplight and in no time I was flying.

But like I said earlier, it's not explosive power. Not like getting shot out of a cannon fast. But very refined and gentle fast.

Hope that helped [&o]
