95-98 F3 motor will "pop right in".When you go to the F3 carbs and airbox, you'll have to cut the tabs on the frame's upper crossbar if you want to use ram air.I don't know if you need to use the F3 radiator or not.

You can use the F2 carbs and airbox on an F3 motor with no problems.

Remember,if you go to the ram air setup, you will need a fuel pump.I learned this the hard way [:'(]

Is there any advantage/good reason to go with an F3 motor in the event you ever have to replace a motor?

The head and transmission are better with the F3 motor.Head flows better, the tranny synchro is closer together. The transmission bearings are better in the F3.Also,the bottom end of the F3 motor is beefier (stronger). The con-rods and journals on the crank are stronger, not that the F2s will break.

Best of luck, and let us know of any more snags/snafus.
