Default F2 on the dyno

After popping my 92 motor from spilling oil all over the track due to not closing the cap all the way due to cooling the motor off in between sessions @ a track day and spinning a bearing or 2 or 3, I had a shop swap in a low mileage 94 motor. Supposedly the 94s make a touch more HP. Not sure if thats true, didn't really "feel" much faster....

.....but I noticed after the motor swap the carbs seemed off....stumbling to the point where I lost a roll-on against a late 80 911 turbo! Bad!

Took it to the shop, went in w/83 hp but the delivery SUCKED!

Left the shop w/89 RWHP. A bit high if you ask me, could be a number of things really.

Mods: Fresh plugs, K&N, Vance & Hines SS2R, -1 front, 520, Supercorsa SC2 160 rear/SC1 120 front.

Buddy w/an SRAD Gixxer 600 piped and tuned nice got 100 HP outta his!

Last year I got 175 RWHP on my 12R and 201 spraying a 40 shot w/the tire skipping around (just to give you an idea of what other bikes are getting on that dyno)

Seems to pull ok, still stumbly bumbly sometimes but under WOT its good, which is REALLY all I care about to be honest!
My 93 Stock F2 seemed to have the same bumbly fumbly carby crap issue too...maybe its just inherent w/F2s.

Default RE: F2 on the dyno

Lucky you-- you've got more than one bike!

I wonder how much a '92 f2 put out to the rear wheel stock?
