F2 commuter
Have some questions on commuting and thebest way to haul stufffor work? Lunch, paperwork, possibily laptop
How many commuting milesa day do you log?
Do you use a cargo net, rear bag, backpack, tank bag, other??
Thanks for your advice as I'm looking for a better way to haul my stuff. I use a backpack but if i'm taking a lot of stuff it is a little heavy for my hour ride to work.

I also commute most days, 19 miles each way to and from work. I use a backpack with at least one laptop, sometimes 2. I keep a cargo net under the seat as well but I think I've only used it twice in the last year. If I have to take more than will fit in the backpack I dust off the car and get it out of the garage.

I used to use a cargo net but I didn't like how it would rub away at the paint.
Over time it left small marks. If you do get a net, I'd suggest a bright colored one, so if you take it off and drop it on the groundby accident you can spot it easily. I dropped my black one and never saw it again. So I got a red one.

I commute 50 miles each way to work everyday. I have a brilliant GIVI tailbag I bought off ebay that holds waterproofs, lunch and my laptop. I just use the four built-in bungee hooks and hook it to the two luggage hooks and the pillion footpeg hooks. I much prefer this to a backpack. I've ridden at 130mph with the tailbag on board and it hasn't moved an inch or affected the handling, even in crosswinds.

As an aside, I'm sorely disappointed with the amount of under-seat space (or lack thereof) on the F2. Easily the least of any bike I've owned.
