I have never heard anyone refer to the sound of a D&D as "good". Loud, yes, but not "good". Once I listened to a 2BR on an F4i, I knew what good was. Then I heard the stock pipe on a Triumph Speed Triple and it put all exhaust sounds to shame.

But don't listen to me, I'm running a stock pipe right now.
