Exhaust/Sprocket Question!
Hey everyone, been awhile since I posted on here but I have a question. I have a 92' F2 and I want to get a new exhaust and sprocket/chain kit, I was just curious as to what all of your opinions were on the different brands and models. For the exhaust I was looking at the two bros black series, and for the sprocket I have no idea yet. Any advice and or information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks everyone!

No one makes a full exhaust for the F2/F3 anymore that I'm aware of - if that is incorrect, someone else needs to clue me in - I've been looking. If you're looking for a slip on only, then you really won't go wrong with any of the popular brands - describe the type of sound you're wanting (quiet, throaty, loud, really loud, insanely loud) and someone here will lead you in the right direction.
Chain and sprockets - again a lot of personal preference. Stock chain is a 530 width - going to a narrower 525 or 520 can save a little weight, but narrower chains are a lil weaker by design, so buy a good chain to get the stregnth back, not the cheapest. If you run a narrower chain, you have to get narrower sprockets too. If you're not tracking the bike - stick with a 530 or 525. they last longer. Personally I stay away from aluminum rear sprockets just for a longevity thing.
Stock gearing is 15/43 - lots of people do down one tooth on front and up 2 on rear - again, depends on what you're looking for. Personally I think down one on the front is enough to add a little pep without making the bike rev crazily on the interstate. How you use the bike can make a difference on what you might want out of changing gearing.

A $30 sprocket kit... that's scary!
In other news, I think we have a mixup on what a sprocket kit is. I'm thinking chain and sprockets, and those kits are all aluminum usually in the 520 sizing.
You're talking just sprockets... unless you're talking about a chain and sprockets for $30, at which point we have a whole 'nother discussion about how unwise it is to use aluminum foil based sprocket and chains on an F2.
