Default Exhaust opinion...???

Right now, I have stock headers, and a Jardine slip-on. It sounds perfect. I'v been thinking of getting a D&D full system (with the street core). I found one on Ebay for $475. Oh, and installing a jet kit. My question is: Is it worth the money for the amount of performance I'll get?

I think with bikes as old as ours, spending 1/4 of the bike's value for what may amount toa couple extra HP is not a good investment. Especially when you consider a bike made in 2000 will still perform better and probably have 20 more HP.

Yeah, I guess so. I'll just repaint the headers, and call it good.... Thanks!

Paint will burn off, even high heat paint.

Get it ceramic coated for about $75, it looks like polished aluminum and doesn't fade or crack, it's very resistant to abrasion, and it's super insulating, keeping the heat in the pipes (this is a performance advantage, but it's pretty minor, cooler engine = more power but the bling factor outweighs the performance gains)
