Default Exhaust ?

Hey I am Brad and i am new to this forum, I will stop by the new members area and introduce my self here soon. I am really bussy finishing up this quarter here at Ohio State, But anyway on to the question.

I have a 92 cbr 600 that i just finished doing a custom paint job on and replacing almost everything to make it look new and custom. I had the exhaust off when I took it apart, so I started it up to see what it would sound like and it sounded alright but VERY loud ha. Is there a way I could weld up my own custom exhaust that would work and have any of you done this. I have herd that it is bad on carbs because of backpressure to have the exhaust so I did not do it because the bike is in really good condition and I want to keep it that way.

Thanks, if any of you could help answer any of that.

Buy an aftermarket exhaust, if you've spent a bunch of money making your bike look clean... Don't slap some shotty cheap mickey mouse exhaust on there.

There are cheap very nice Jardine systems on ebay, search for the seller "Mx113" ... He blows out Jardine's at ridiculous prices all the time.

That's a nice paint job. The ol' F2 looks great. Welcome to the forums.

If you liked the low throaty noise while your bike was idoling without the exhaust (like I did) I'd suggest looking into voodoo exhaust, sounds great

In my opinion I would get the D&D exhaust. I have one on my F2 and my friend and I both prefer it to his Jardine on his F3 (which are nearly identical bikes). The D&D has a much crisper deep sound through out the RPM range. They are both pretty good exhausts though.
