I just recently bought a bike that was droped on the left side into the curb. The engine casing is cracked and a piece is missing, the piece is not very large and just happens to be where one of the bolts goes for the stator cover. Is there any thing i can do to fix this or is i going to cost me alto to have a new engine put in? Also, will the engine from an 98' f3 fit in a 94' f2?
Thanks for your help!

You might be able to weld it depending on the size. But IIRC if you split the engine case you can actually replace one side at a time. But don't do that unless you can reassemble an engine.
If you found a good deal on an F3 engine, get it. It'll fit, but you'll need an F3 speedo I think.
