Was wondering if you found the problem.............I'm kinda having the same problem a couple months ago my main fuse blew and every time i put another in it would blow so i installed a new wire harness and it was fine for a month then the bike died on me (no power) so i bought a new stator since i already put a new rectifier on it and battery and it stilll wont charge any info would be appreciated....thanx kurt

The charge from the rectifier comes back into the starter solenoid through the multi plug with the main fuse in, Check to see if there is any corrosion on the terminals or in the multi plug. looks like green crud, also 2 big cables run across the relay remove the allen screws CAREFULLY!!! if they are corroded and clean those too one goes to the + on the Battery the other goes to the Starter, Oh yeah just a pointer Disconnect the battery 1st....
