I just finished using POR-15 for my gas tank and I was wondering if I should put that screen tube back inside the petcock hole. I have an inline fuel filter that I've added so I was wondering if that screen is necessary?

I'd probably leave it in if it were me, just because it'll catch things that would probably clog your inline filter and leave you dead in the water out on the road. But I can't really see the harm otherwise. Keep a spare inline filter under the seat just in case, which you should be doing anyway.
