Dimensions of radiator
I actually have an f3 but i have an f2 radiator on it. the f2 radiator was a bit bigger so i thought it would stay cooler. Just wondering if anyone actually knows the dimensions of the f2 radiator off hand or can take some measurements for me, my bike is in my friends garage for a couple days so i dont have access to it. Summer is coming and i would like to do a lot of city riding (gas prices) yet my radiator fan sucks big time. I dont know why, when i start riding, it only comes on once at first and then never comes on again so im just gonna scrap the stock fan all together and put in dual after market fans so i can stay cool on 100 degree days.
The smallest ive seen was a 7 inch fan so wondering if i can even put 2 of them on my radiator and stay cool all around. Any help will be greatly appreciated. these fans draw such little power that i think 2 fans and do a manual switch will be fine.

The fan on the F2 doesn't come on until you are almost in the red zone (of temp gauge) and my (now sold) F4i's fan didn't come on until about 220degrees (pretty damn hot).
They aren't supposed to be on all the time, are you sure you NEED a new fan? If it never comes on it might be a bad temperature switch thing (that kicks the fan on), it sticks out the bottom left side of the F2 rad.
