Default digital guages for my F2

Hi I bought a 93 F2 and it has now fairings or plastics except for the rear tail area along the seat and tail light. But anyways I plan to make bike back ro stock since it was used as a stunt bike and I heard about guys getting guages off the newer cbr's and I dont have the harness or anything and I would like to go with digital and what all would I need and how much $$ are we expecting here? I plan on eBay 1st option .. your help is appreciated!!

It can probably be done, but does'nt the F2 use a speedo-cable off the front wheel?
If so, it would be a expensive proposition to do a conversion to digital.
Unless you went with one of the after-market units, which commonly run in the $300+ range.

The F3 and beyond get the information from the CDI Unit, so there is some common
ground to make the F3 analog>F4 digital conversion.

I could be wrong, if so, hopefully som-one better informed will correct me. ;-)

You can do the F4i conversion, but it requires a CBR 900 case cover as I recall.

Requires the f4i gauges 900rr front sprocket cover (or vfr) with pick up a speedohealer or similiar. Theres a write up in the tech section check it out, I think some of its actually wrong thlugh, look at the f4i wiring diagram and the f2 to figure it out.
