RE: CREA Body Kit....
Cool! Thak you very much for the pics. I'll try and refer to them as I do mine.
One question, whats the swirly metal pieces on this for?
I saw that and it baffled me. Some good pics on the backets you were talking about though. Gives me some good ideas/reference material. Thanks again.

RE: CREA Body Kit....
Those are spring metal backing pieces for the zeus fasteners on the upper piece (the picture with the screw attached with a spring with the two scratch marks above it). The zeus fastener is a quarter turn screw with a slot that accepts the spring and with just a quarter turn, tightens the two pieces together. They're very common on race cars since they are constantly removing/installing the body panels.

RE: CREA Body Kit....
I have this kit on my bike and Im just finishing the final fit of it. They tell you that it fits well and a novice can do it. Well its more than just drilling holes and mounting it. I have laid fiberglass to fill gaps and sanded down other spots to get the right curves. This kit is a rough fit and takes some knowledge of fiberglass and bodywork.
Also the fiberglass comes bare no primer or gelcoat. So the reason the paint is flakeing of on the bodywork in the above pics it that the fiberglass wasnt sealed before the bike was painted. It was a poor paint job no sealer or primer. Just paint right on fiberglass.
I hope to be done in time for bike week in Laconia NH in june so I will post pics hopefully step by step soon. If you need a hand or have advice on lower brackets drop me a line.
