So I'm sailing down the highway tonight and my entire right side fuqin cowling just FLYS OFF THE BIKE at 80mph goin down I30.

I JUST HAD the chain put on this bike, and a new brake handle.

So hear are my options:

The bike runs like a dream, I just gotta get new plastic for the right side. Now I can either replace the plastic and keep riding it.. or just sell it as is to a stunter, take the cash, and go buy a new bike.

1)Sell it as to a stunter, take cash and put down on a new bike

2)Dump some more $$ into it(cowls off ebay) and keep on riding.

keep it!! Mine did the same thing lol but the guy who had mine before did a really bad job with the upper cowl after he droped it. So while i was on the freeway going like 80-85 it flew of but i am getting my plastics replaced soon after i get my forks. But yeah keep your bike unless you really want to get somethign new and you have the money for it

 

I gotta ask... the right side has what, 6 bolts in it? So how in the world does your cowl just fly off???

Anyway, my .02 is get a fairing and keep riding.

keep it, plactics for these bikes are cheap and easy to find on ebay. be patient, you will find a nice peice thats stock

Ouch, those are pretty high prices.

I would check eBay or even your local Craig's List for parts before going for any of those on that site.

 

If I replace the lower left and right fairings with just straight white, it won't look so ghetto. How much for those two peices yall think?
