Sounds like yourclutch is not engaging.

Could be something easy: check the cluth cable, that its not too tight.

Otherwise i would say something is wrong withing the clutch assembly itself.
Check the springs and lifting plate, that its creating enough tension on the cluth.

the plate and the springs should be tightened right down if you have them finger tight then the clutch is doing nothing and the bolts will only be in about 3 threads thighten them right down and that will solve your problem

Like gregtuch said, make sure the springs are tightened all the way down.

I cant mind what size socket you need but i think it is 10mm and tighten the pressure plate bolts all the way up in a criss cross pattern. Dont think i can make it any clearer than that really
