Speaking of chains... What is the best way to determine weather you need to replace your chain? All this talk about chains has me wondering.. Haha. How are those ebay brands?

You should have a little sticker on your swing arm with the wear range on it as a blue area. You should adjust your change to have about 5/8" - 1" of play on the bottom in the middle.

If you don't have the sticker anymore I guess you just have to go by the marks right behind the hub bolt. From the look of it, when the second line after the one with the arrows (the long one) is approaching the right side of the window, you'd better be shopping around for a new chain.

Sticker only works if you have the stock size front and rear sprockets and chain length ofcourse. Front: 16 Rear: 45 Chain links: 108

And here is a fantastic tool for finding the speed/rpm and ratios with different size sprockets!

Default if ya want

take a link out if ya want but its a waste of time. its gona destroy whats left of the sprokets in very short order, and youll be right back outside working on the chain and sprokets again. JUST REPLACE THEM IN A COMBO, and save time money and headache.

been there done that and wasted that time.
