well i think i have just got my answer and thats is no the F2's rotor has a OD of 276mm were as the F3 has an OD of 296mm so the rotors and calipers will not line up from what im seeing. in order to make this work it would have to be otally swapped forks, calipers, wheels and rotors for every thing to line up correctly.

You definitely have F3 forks on the bike, the easiest way to tell is by something you've already mentioned: the fender.
On the F2, the bosses for the fender mounting bolts run linear to each other, from the front one to the back one, but on the F3, the rear-most mounting boss is positioned a bit higher... this is why you can't mount an f2 fender.

Whoever told you that there's no difference other than the internals, is wrong, as you already know, when considering the fender mounting, but for what it's worth, it's true that the differences are hard to spot without close examination.

One other difference, which has much more importance, is the caliper mounting bosses, which are slightly higher on the F3 fork, than they are on the F2 fork - this is to allow for the F3's larger diameter rotors. It's hard to see by looking at one, then the other - the only real way to see the difference, is to perform measurements, or just stand them up right next to each other.
The difference is roughly 8mm to 10mm, if I remember correctly - what this means for you, is that you need to verify that the when you apply the front brakes, the entire pad surfaces will clamp onto the disc itself... logic would tell us that there would be some "unused" brake pad surface area, due to the whole caliper assembly being mounted higher on the fork, but, it depends on how close to the edge of the disc they were originally designed to ride.

The good news is, the calipers you have mounted are also from an F3, which means all you have to do is get an F3 front wheel and rotors, and you're set, but bear in mind, you will then have to come up with a different way to get a speedo reading, which is another ball of wax.

have one more question though, the speed sensor on the wheel acts like a spacer it looks like is the F3 rim slightly wider in the axle area to compensate for that?and is the axle its self the same or is it bigger/smaller around?(for the F3 rim)

Ahhh, so you have the F3 dash as well? Then yeah, F3 wheel and rotors, and you're done!

You'll just need to make sure you have both of the F3 wheel spacers, and you're set.
I'm not sure how much difference there is between the left and right spacers, but be aware that they are not the same part number, though the left and right individual part numbers are the same for all F3 models.

No difference... F2 and F3 rear rotors are interchangeable.
