just the basic check here. To start the engine you will need both fuel and spark. Now this is just a suggestion as a starting point, due to lack of details.
But it sounds like your battery is fine, just needs a recharge, and your starter works if it's clicking, most likely. next thing in electrical is the coils and spark plugs. make sure your coils are providing spark and the spark plugs are in working condition. A common weak spot on the bike is the recharging system, more specifically the Regulator/Rectifier. There is a sticky in the Tech section on how to test/fix that problem.
Next thing is fuel. make sure there is adequate fuel in the tank. make sure your fuel valve, petcock, is in the right position and not off. Fuel hose or line could be clogged. The petcock could be broken and is not vacuuming fuel from the tank. You could empty the tank and pull the lines and petcock. fuel lines are relatively cheap and the petcock repair kit on ebay is like 20$ US. worst case is the carbs gummed up and your jets are not allowing enough fuel into the system. That usually won't happen unless at some point you let the bike sit for a long period of time with fuel in the tank.
The guys here are very helpful and all the information on the site is really helpful as well. Good luck to you and let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
