Default carb jetting question

i've read on here that the jetting on stock carbs is way to rich for these bikes.I live in south Georgia I have a d&d slip on new honda air filter and new carbs with stock jets. The tip of the pipe will haze a little when you burp the throttle. What I'm asking is is what are you guys running near me to get the best power, not the most.So I can keep it from over heating or fry the pistons.Cause the last time we tested it with the junk carbs a pos vance&hines it made 75.3 hp at 11110 rpm at 10.4 air fuel ratio

well u need the whole kit (needle jet new springs shrouds i.a.) a set of mains will do u no good unless you have the neddles to tune them with. a dynojet (recomended) is only like 116$ BUT FIRST! look under your swing arm and look closely do u see a black can looking thing anywhere?

if there was a black can then youd have a CA model cbr which requires a different jet kit. just changing the mains will probly make your bike run worse on average id hold off till u get the whole kit. now whats the deal with 2nd gear?
