Can someone verify these wires for a connector going to the speedometer
Hey guys, I just got a CBR600F2 and the connector going to thespeedometerto give the signals for the turn signals,brights,ect...is chopped off, but 4 wires still remain. Im going to buy some connectors and get this baby going again, but can anyone confirm for me the colors of the wires for the connector that controls this? It is the FOUR wire connector going to the speedometer.
COLORS:
BLACK with a red stripe
GREEN with a red stripe
BLUE with a red stripe
YELLOW with a black stripe
If anyone also has the placement of each of these 4 wires to the speedometer that would be awesome too...Like, "The Black w/ Rd Stripe goes in the top right when looking at the back of the speedometer"...But we'll take it one step at a time...
I really appreciate it guys, Thank you[/align]

black w/red= headlight fusetostart switch
if pale green w/red= neutral light indicator to diode
if dark green w/red= clutch switch to diode
blue w/red= oil pressure switch/indicator
yellow w/black= side stand switch/indicator

pale green and solid black, not black w/red makes more sense, that would make all your wiresone of the 2 connectors that goes into the gauge cluster, in that case the solid black wireis a ground wire for the neutral/sidestand/oil indicators
if you still need to know where the individual wires go I can check tomorrow
