Default Bike wants to slightly veer left

If I try ride hands off, my bike veers slightly to the (edit) left. I have to lean slightly to the (edit) right to keep going straight.

When riding hands on, 99.9% of the time, I do not notice anything. I dont sit off center off center or anything.....

Is my bike messed up ?

As far as I know, and for the looks of the frame, my bike doees not look like it has been in any acident.

I have had the forks off, and rolled the chrome parts on a glass pane, and they are not bent.

I have also tried to angle the rear wheel in different positions, just to trouble shoot, and it does not have any noticable effect.

Any idea`s to messure, and look at, or does your bike do the same ? :-)

rear wheel is probably not straight, or if one fork is softer than the other it could lean that direction.

+1, or you could be looking left and not realize it lol, or the road has a crown to it.

sorry guys....I switchd left and right.....

It veers to the left, and I have to lean right to the exhaust side.........which does not work out the right way when on crowned roads.....

I agree... crowned road... when I ride with no hands I notice the bike trying to drift right if the road has a crown... go to a nice flat parking lot and try it there.

here's a simple solution. RIDE WITH YOUR HANDS ON THE BARS. :-)

well, it could be dangerous, if the handle bars fall off during hard acceleration, and the bike veers over into oncomming traffic.......thats why I want to fix it :-)

You have bigger things to worry about if parts of your bike are falling off...
